The Parks & Recreation Department operates the Bedford Municipal Pool located at 26 Ellenwood Ave. The facility features: six lane by 25 yard competition swimming pool, waterslide, zero-depth area, and spray ground. The Bedford Municipal Pool is staffed with American Red Cross certified Lifeguards.
 
The Bedford Municipal Pool will open on Saturday, June 7, 2025.


Season Pass Fees (Must be a verified Bedford Resident)
Individual Pass (ages 3-59)  $40
Senior Pass (ages 60+)   $20
Household Family of Four Pass $100
Each additional household member $15

Pre-season pass sales begin May 1 at Ellenwood Center during regular office hours. Each household member must provide verified proof of residency. Starting June 7, season passes will be available for purchase in person at the pool.


Daily Drop-In Fees
Bedford Resident $5 (residency verification required)
Guest $10 (Must be accompanied by a Bedford pool passholder on a 1-1 ratio. Guests must provide name, date of birth and emergency contact information.)


What is Verified Residency?
Our Residency Membership provides exclusive access to our high-demand programs and discounts for verified residents. This program ensures that local households enjoy the benefits our community has to offer while supporting fair and equitable enrollment and use of resources.  This membership is currently required for Learn-To-Swim and Summer Day Camp early enrollment and resident pricing and Summer Pool passes. Proof of residency is required every 2 years per household member. Verify residency by emailing documents to recreation@bedfordoh.gov or visit the Ellenwood office/pool during business hours.

Residency Requirements for Adults (only one required):
  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport)
  • Utility bill (water, electricity, gas) dated within the last 30 days
  • Current lease or mortgage agreement/property tax bill
Residency Requirements for Children (only one required):
  • Official correspondence with child’s name and address (report card, insurance, bank)
  • Birth certificate or guardianship documents (accompanied by the adult's residency proof)
