CO-OP PARTNER: AccessABLE Recreation at OCER

Orange Community Education & Recreation is one of our cooperative partners that offer adaptive recreation programs and resources that we highly recommend, cross-promote and collaborate for programming.

Orange Community Education & Recreation (OCER) seeks to create and promote inclusion across all facilities, programs and classes that are offered. OCER welcomes people of all ages and abilities to participate in any of their programs. Their goal is to ensure that individuals with special needs have equitable access to the benefits of high-quality educational and recreational programs that foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. They offer a variety of adaptive programs to meet participants needs as well.

Adaptive and integrated classes, camps & activities for children and adults aim to:
* Meet each participant’s needs with care and concern.
* Provide each participant with an opportunity to shine and share their special gifts.
* Enable all participants to take risks while developing self-esteem.

*With grant funding from Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, we are able to offer reduced registration fees for adult Bedford residents who register for our cooperative partners for 2024. Please contact Sarah at sgnoddie@bedfordoh.gov or call 440-735-6575 for more information.
