REFUND POLICY


Refunds are available for classes and activities (unless otherwise specified) provided notification is provided to City of Bedford Parks & Recreation Department at least 5 business days prior to the class or activity start date. If a class is cancelled by City of Bedford Parks & Recreation Department participants will be given the opportunity to switch to another program, obtain credit to be used for another program, or obtain a refund.

If a class is cancelled by City of Bedford Parks & Recreation Department participants will be given the opportunity to switch to another program, obtain credit to be used for another program, or obtain a refund.

 

REFUNDS BEFORE PROGRAM BEGINS

If a participant wishes to withdraw from a program, the participant must submit a written request at least 5 business days prior to the first session of the program, unless otherwise noted, provided it does not reduce the participation level below the required minimum*.

 

NO REFUNDS

No refunds will be issued after the program begins.

 

HOW REFUNDS ARE ISSUED

If the registration fee is paid by cash, check or money order the participant will receive a refund in the form of a check. If the registration fee is paid by MasterCard or Visa, the participant will receive a credit to the corresponding account. There will be no cash refunds. A Program Refund Request Form MUST be completed for all refunds. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Program Refund Request Forms are available online at www.bedfordoh.gov or at the City of Bedford Parks & Recreation Department. *In certain circumstances refunds cannot be granted because tickets, supplies and/or instructor fees are determined and/or purchased in advance based on enrollment numbers. 

Per Ordinance 9389-16  In the event any refund is due any individual or business entity from any public monies collected from City Income Tax, water bills, sewer bills, assessments permits, license fees or any other funds from any service provided by a municipal department or operations, the Finance Director is authorized to apply the refund net to any fund or amounts due the City for any other service provided, obligation owed or assessments due the City.
