This program will focus on their life story, one of ordinary people struggling to achieve extraordinary things in a city, nation, and world that held many barriers for people who were poor and black. Presented by the Western Reserve Historical Society.To celebrate Cleveland’s diverse cultural heritage and in observance of Ash Wednesday, we’re serving pierogies with caramelized onions, southern mac and cheese, collard greens and delicious paczkis (Polish doughnuts).
